My name is Kirsten Wild (maiden name: Banks). I was born and raised in Berrien Springs, Michigan. I attended Andrews University and transferred to Walla Walla University where I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my minor in Health/Fitness in 2009. I’m currently working on my Master’s degree in Neuroscience and Education at La Sierra University where I'm set to graduate in June, 2019. I worked as a substitute teacher upon graduating for 3 years; working in various places such as Walla Walla School District in Washington, San Bernardino School District, and Loma Linda Academy. I began working at LLA as a Teacher’s Aide in 2nd grade in 2012. After that year, I was hired to teach 1st grade here at LLA, which I did for the next 4 years. This is my second year teaching 4th grade and I have been thoroughly enjoying it! I've been married since October of 2015. My husband, Brent Wild, is a Physical Therapist for Marketplace Physical Therapy in Chino Hills. I love spending my free time with my husband, our dog, Sophie, and the rest of our family! I enjoy hiking, camping, baking, doing crafts, and most of all, reading! I love to read and I hope to encourage my students to share a love of reading as well! I love working at Loma Linda Academy and I praise God for the opportunity to work in Adventist Education where I can share my faith while teaching students academics and life skills. I look forward to an amazing year with your children.
